Patricia Ann “Candy” Jacques,  was born February 8, 1968 in Charleston County to Roosevelt and Mary Randolph Jacques. Patricia was educated collectively through the Orangeburg County School Districts. She was employed with Katura Springs Assisted Living until her health declined. Patricia was loved and adored by a multitude of family and friends. Patricia loved to dance, go fishing, and cook for family and friends or as she would say “use to enjoy cooking.”...

Mr. Curtis James Jr. departed this life on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. He was born in Holly Hill, South Carolina on March 8,1949, to the late Curtis and Georgia James. At an early age, Curtis developed a relationship with God and joined the Greater Target A.M.E. Church in Holly Hill, South  Carolina. He attended Orangeburg County public schools and went on to graduate from Roberts High School. He studied brick masonry at Denmark Technical College, where he received an associates...

Elsan T. Hasan formerly known as Benjamin Haskell was born on February 11, 1952. He was the youngest son of Rev. Fortune and Rena Haskell. Elsan graduated from Aviation High School in New York.  He attended Lehman College for a brief period. He worked for a Law Firm in NY, where he eventually retired from.  Hasan traveled the world pursuing his Martial Arts career achieving his black belt. God saw fit to call Elsan to take his rest on May 4, 2023, passing peacefully at his home...

Mr. James (Chester) Taste, Jr., son of the late James Christmas Taste and Mary Bennett, was born on December 24, 1937, in Cross, South Carolina. He was raised by the late Lawrence and Almetta Taste. On November 15, 1956, he was joined in holy matrimony to Lillie Mae Epps Taste. Out of that union were born seven sons. He was employed by Walworth Plantation as a caretaker. He also worked for Traylor Brothers Construction as a construction worker. He was a member of Greater St. Paul U.M.C....

Again, on May 2, 2023 with unexpected sadness, death has come among us. God has decided to silently close the door of life and departed from us never again to return for Tharron Derrek Williams. The shock of his death is visibly and profoundly felt by those with whom he came in contact with. Derrek was born on July 13, 1980 to Mr. Jacob and the late Rosa Lee D. Williams in Orangeburg County.
