Ella Green Jenkins

Mrs. Ella Green Jenkins- daughter of the late Mr. Stephen and Susie James Green was born on March 2, 1922 in Eutawville, SC. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at TRMC in Orangeburg, SC. 

Mrs. Jenkins was a very loving caregiver, until her health failed. 

At an early age, she became a member of Lovely Hill Baptist Church. Later, she moved her membership to New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Her final membership where she served as a full member was at True Baptist Church in Eutawville, SC. She loved to sing, and her favorite song was "Pouring Water on a Drowning Man."

In 1948, she was joined in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Joseph Jenkins who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her twin brother - Mr. Samuel Green, and her following siblings: Ms. Eve Green, Ms. Vera Green, Ms. Desine Green, Ms. Elnora Green, and brother, Mr. Enon Green. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her loving daughter, Mrs. Jannie G. Watson; Eight grandchildren: Raymond (Thelma) Watson, of Orangeburg, SC; Nathaniel (Angela) Watson of Holly Hill, SC; Welsey (Vickie) Watson of Columbus, GA; Willie (Rachel) Watson, III of of Charlotte, NC; Tommie (Yvonne) Watson of Columbia, SC; Janie (Clifford) Benjamin of Holly Hill, SC; Odell (Alfreda) of Holly Hill, SC, and De'Andrea Goodwin of Augusta, GA. 

She had 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

She also had a special caregiver - Ms. Margaret Ann Bradley of Holly Hill, SC.
