Through the tragedy of death came life for Shonda Simmons-Jenkins, who is now the CEO of Grace Funeral Services, LLC. A funeral service that was established in April 2015 for all people and seeks to provide in depth support to families of the dearly departed. We are dedicated to making sure that the lives of those departed are celebrated in a way that is meaningful to those left behind. Our goal is to provide an overall exemplary experience.

Although knowing that we must pass from our mortal bodies to eternal life, sometimes it’s not the easiest thing to do and often times the families are unprepared in more ways than one. We know how we entered this world but we will never know how one might exit this life. The one thing that keeps us in suspense is “DEATH”! Why, because we don’t know when our time is up? Yet, death is gracious, he gives warnings, but no set time.

How does one prepare for death? First, you must get your soul right with the Lord. How? "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved". Romans 10:9 (KJV). If you confess this, believe it, and live according to His commandments, no matter how and when death comes, you will be prepared to leave this world and enter into His kingdom.
