Today, Heaven gained an angel,
My heart's so out of place,
Yet even though, I'll always know,
Your love was God's grace.
I'll visit with you often and we shall reminisce,
About the love we shared.
So sleep on, Dad, I'll keep you in my heart,
Your spirit is with Jesus, but I'll see you by and by.
