Mr. Will “Bo” Davis, Jr. entered into eternal life on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, peacefully at the Orangeburg Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 7, 1940, in Santee, South Carolina. He was the third of nine children born to the late Mr. Will and Mrs. Susie Abraham Davis of Vance, South Carolina.
He was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County. At an early age, he connected himself with Rock Hill AME Church of Vance, South Carolina, where he fellowshipped and remained until his passing.
He was a loving father. He was well loved by all who knew him. Will was a man of few words but had a loving personality.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Freddie Davis, Sr., and Charles Davis: two sisters, Rosa Bell Washington, and Alice Davis and his great granddaughter Antoinette Ashby.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Ashby of Orangeburg, South Carolina; and one granddaughter, Latea Canty of Orangeburg, South Carolina; one sister, Bertha Davis of Vance, South Carolina; three brothers, Leroy (Ann) Davis and Daniel Davis both of Norwalk, Connecticut, and Roosevelt Davis of Santee, South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Beverly Davis of Kingsland, Georgia; one aunt, Lourine Abraham of Orangeburg, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Earth’s loss is Heaven’s gain. Sleep on Uncle Bo, we will meet you in the morning where sweet wildflowers grow.
