Tony Steven Simmons, Sr., was born April 30, 1972, to the Late Mary Simmons Anderson and the Late Steven Moultrie. He was educated in the schools of Berkeley County. Tony entered his promise reward on September 6, 2021.
Tony was a “Meals On Wheels” volunteer, mentor to the youth of his community, lover of creative cooking, a collector of unique things, and an avid reader.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Simmons (TJ).
He leaves to cherish his memory: his children: Tony Simmons, Jr., Akaeleb Simmons (Stephanie Gadsden-mother), Kaden Stettler (Helen Stettler-mother), Jaimee and Jordan Simmons (Stephanie Green-mother); his niece: Lexi Schmidt; his step-father: Lewis Anderson; his siblings: Malcolm Lampkin, Yolanda Nelson, Wanda Dash, La’Teaka Moultrie, Brenda Gethers, Erica White, and Quentin Hawkins, and Tonya Tameeka Hawkins; his aunt: Rebecca Young (Eddie), of Florida; his uncle: James Simmons (Yasmin) of Texas; his great aunt: Ella Mae Singleton of New York, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
