Mr. Dale Allen Morant was the son of the late Elvin Morant, Sr. and Ida Mae Collier Morant. He was preceded in death by his late brother, Elvin Morant, Jr. He was born on December 28, 1962 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He departed his earthly life on Saturday, April 26, 2026 at Edisto Post-Acute in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
At an early age, he joined Greater Target African Methodist Episcopal Church in Holly Hill, SC. Dale was educated in the Holly Hill Public School System graduating in the class of 1981. He was employed by Don's Car Crushing in Holly Hill, South Carolina.
Dale was a fun and loving person. He was also a very hard working man and family oriented. He loved his children and grandchildren. He was a legend in his own way. Anyone who knew Dale called him "THE LEGENDARY DALE MORANT."
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife, Harriet Morant of the home; two sons, Altron (Sequoyah) Williams of Blythewood, SC, Dalron Williams of Holly Hill, SC; two daughters, Amecia Williams of Holly Hill, SC and Shadalia Williams of the home; Twenty-three grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; Mother and Father-in-law, Herman & Francis Williams of Holly Hill, SC; three sisters-in-law, Dareen (Gary) Blakley of Nichols, SC, Claydell Hunt of Holly Hill, SC, and Barbara Williams of Holly Hill, SC; four brothers-in law, Randy (Megan) Williams of Holly Hill, SC, Herman (Shirley) Williams, Jr of Charlotte, NC, Hercules (Edith) Mack of Reesville, SC and Damon Williams of Holly Hill, SC; two uncles, Tyrone Gadson of Holly Hill, SC and Rev. Esau Clark of Holly Hill, SC; aunt, Rosa Washington of Santee, SC; five special cousins, Terry Washington, James Brown, Wanda Brown, Beverly Brown of Holly Hill, SC, and Chanell Summers of Savannah, GA; three special friends, Danny Dennis, Joe Nathan Robinson and Joe Daggins of Holly Hill, SC; a very special friend who he considered as a bother , Johnny Bookhart of Holly Hill, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
