Again, on May 2, 2023 with unexpected sadness, death has come among us. God has decided to silently close the door of life and departed from us never again to return for Tharron Derrek Williams. The shock of his death is visibly and profoundly felt by those with whom he came in contact with.
Derrek was born on July 13, 1980 to Mr. Jacob and the late Rosa Lee D. Williams in Orangeburg County.
He was educated in Orangeburg County Public Schools and was employed by the Finishing Touch Company for many years. He loved sports, his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved being with his family and made many life-time friends.
Derrek was always full of humor. He was loving, caring, and a giving person and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother and his brother, Anthony Ives Williams.
His memories will forever be cherished by his devoted father: Jacob Williams, Jr. of the home; nephew: DeAnthony Williams of the home; Anthony Williams of NC; Six Aunts: Marylee Mack (Godmother) and Ella Duggins both of Holly Hill, SC: Patricia (Benjamin) Gilliard of Cross, SC, Mildred Robinson of Columbia, SC, Elizabeth Durant of Naperville, IL and Deloris (Sharif) Abdul-Badee of Richmond, VA; One Uncle: Steve (Joanne) Durant of Plainsfield, NJ; a loving special friend: Regean Angle Banks; other relatives and loving friends that will miss him dearly.
