Sonia Yvonne Fuller was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Reverend Frank Fuller and Virginia Fuller on December 30, 1964. She departed her earthly vessel on January 29, 2023. Sonia was the youngest of three children.
Sonia graduated from Edmondson High School in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation, she was employed as an assistant daycare provider for several years with the Fuller’s Family Child Daycare Center. She pursued a career in the Baltimore City School System as a substitute teacher where the staff and students enjoyed and loved her for about 10 years.
Sonia loved fashion design, cosmetology, craft design, cooking meals for others. In addition, she also enjoyed taking care of the elderly. Her life dream was opening a Domestic Violence Women Shelter.
Sonia was married to the late Earl Tallington; she has two livings sons Shelton and Simeon.

Sonia had given her life to Christ at an early age. As a member of First Apostle Faith Church, Baltimore, Maryland, she graduated from the International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ, Inc. June 7, 2009, as a youth minister under the mentorship of Apostle Cornelius Showell, Senior Pastor. She loved working in the church and praising the Lord.
In 2018, Sonia and her son moved to Dallas, Texas and resided there for 3 years. While living in Dallas, Texas, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a driver for Miles Transportation Service. After several years in Texas, Sonia moved to Vance, South Carolina to care for her elderly parents. Sonia became a member of the Shepherd Outreach Ministries Church where she enjoyed family and friends praising the Lord.
Sonia leaves to cherish her memories, her sons: Shelton Fuller and Simeon T. Smith-Fuller; mother: Virginia Fuller, sister: Rena Brown; brother: Eric, Sr.; nephew: Eric Fuller, Jr.; one great nephew: two life-long friends: Jacqueline Penn and Keyshia McCree; a close relationship with cousin: Delores J. Reaves; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
