June 19, 2006 – August 6, 2025

Sierra Denyce Hickman, affectionately known to those who loved her as Max, was born on June 19, 2006, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Francesca Denise Lawyer and Derrick Little Hickman, Jr.

In life, Sierra was surrounded by love from her mother, sisters, and friends. On August 6th, Sierra chose her wings and rested in the Father’s arms.

She attended the public schools of Berkeley County and recently enrolled in the Adult Education Academy, majoring in Pharmacy tech. Classes was suppose to begin on Wednesday.

 Her passion was to live her life as uniquely and eccentrically as she could. She LOVED cooking dishes from other cultures, and loved listening to audiobooks. She had a special thing for Kpop music and J Hope being her favorite artist, anime was ALWAYS creating something.

Sierra was the fire and energy and she celebrated love ‘til the end. She was a flower child and LOVED the smell of lavender.

Sierra, along with her sisters, attended The Net International Ministries in Summerville, SC. She would brighten everyone's day with her smile and had never met a stranger in life. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and an inspiration to others.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother: Francesca D. Lawyer of Ladson, SC; father: Derrick Little Hickman, Jr. of West Ashley, SC; sisters: Mercedes, Shakira, Jordyn,  Jazmyn, Malayia, Shadiyah, and Dominique. She also leaves to honor her memory her godmother, Keisha Elmore, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
