Shirley Ann (Rivera) Isaac

Shirley Ann Isaac was the proud daughter of Hector L. Rivera and Dorothy Flores on October 5, 1977 in Far Rockaway, NY. 

Shirley met and married the love of her life, Franklin Isaac and to this union six children were born. They had a lifetime of love and partnership that could not be broken. Nothing in life brought her more joy than being surrounded by the ones she loves. Her husband, children, and grandchildren meant the world to her. Shirley had a natural nurturing loving spirit that drew everyone to her whom she encountered.

Wherever she went, her energy took over the room! Her sassy attitude is forever irreplaceable. To have known such a sweet soul is a blessing of its own. The messages that we received from near and far hearing how she impacted the lives of people, is one of the greatest gifts she could have left us. She urges us to do our best, stand firm on what we believe, and never stop smiling.

It pains us all to admit, but apparently Shirley; a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and a dear friend has gone home to Glory. For we know that this would happen one day, but it’s simply not something we wanted to hear or expected so soon, much less experience.

She is preceded in death by her father, Hector Rivera and her son-in-law, Johnathan Gibbs.

Shirley received her wings on Saturday, February 20, 2021 surrounded by her family.  We shall not cry but rejoice in the Lord that she is with the Father in Heaven.

She leaves behind to cherish her sweet memories: her husband of twenty–six years, Franklin Isaac; six children; Franklin Jr, Eliza, Antinette, Raquan, Quentin, and Malachi; four grandchildren; Demoni, Demari, Johnathan, and Demir; mother: Dorothy Flores; four brothers; Jose, Hector, Pedro and Charles; three sisters; Marion, Samantha, and Marian; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
