Selwyn Gerard Singletary

Mr. Selwyn Gerard Singletary was born on March 13, 1975 in Orangeburg, SC. He is the oldest son of the late Samuel "Chip" Singletary and Marie Fogle.

Selwyn was raised and educated in the Orangeburg County School System and graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in 1993. He went on to further his education by graduating from Providence College in Rhode Island, with Bachelor of Science degree. He was employed with Wells Fargo in Chicago, IL.

Selwyn was a fun, loving, and compassionate person. He was known for his contagious smile and laughter. He enjoyed family gatherings and traveling.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; one sister, Maeloney H. Singletary; and uncles and aunts.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: one brother, Kenric S. Singletary of Texas; one sister, Yolanda Renee' Singletary; two nieces, Aliana Green and Angel Green; two nephews, Orville Green, Jr. and Kenric Singletary, Jr.; and a host of cousins and friends.
