Sammie Lee Clark, Jr.

Sammie Lee (Jackie) Clark, Jr, the son of Sammie Lee Clark, Sr, and Joann Clark was born on June 14, 1965 in Vance, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Medical University of South Carolina.

He grew up in Vance, South Carolina and after graduating from Holly Hill-Roberts High School, he enlisted into the United States Army in 1983. At an early age he joined Rock Hill AME Church in Vance, South Carolina.

Affectionately known as "Jackie" he leaves behind: His loving parents, four children; Mr. Quintin (Shanice) Clark of Camp Springs, Maryland, Mrs. Allison (Frederick) Washington of Orangeburg, South Carolina,  Mr. Marquis Clark and Ms. Cheyenne Clark of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; One brother, Leon  (Audrey) Davis of Santee, South Carolina, Two sisters;  Mrs. Mary (Christopher) Hilliard of Kinston, North Carolina and Mrs. Cynthia (Kendall) Middleton of Atlanta, Georgia; Six grandchildren, Zamiyah Clark, Amani Washington, Zayden Clark, Amari Washington, Ayden Washington and Kaeden Clark, one great aunt; Ms. Gussie Mae A. Clark of Vance, South Carolina, ten aunts; Apostle Dr. Eva Mae Clark of Vance, South Carolina, Apostle Annie (Roy) Allen of Santee, South Carolina, Ms. Mary Ann Goodwin of Vance, South Carolina, Ms. Margarite Benjamin of Vance, South Carolina, Mrs. Catherine (Johnny) Williams of Vance, South Carolina, Ms. Jessie Goodwin of Holly Hill, SC, Mrs. Eartha Lee (Furman) Smith of Holly Hill, South Carolina, Ms. Dianne Clark of Vance, South Carolina, Mrs. Evelyn (Kenneth) McCullough of Columbia, South Carolina, Ms. Emma Cark of Santee, South Carolina; three uncles, Mr. Robert (Ruthie) Goodwin of Holly Hill, South Carolina, Mr. Johnny Goodwin of Vance, South Carolina, and Mr. Elroy Clark of Vance, South Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
