Sam Brown was born February 11, 1948 in Holly Hill, SC to the Late Leroy and Vera Bollie Brown. Sam was the fifth child of eight children. He was also preceded in death, by his siblings Lenamae, Draker and Katie Mae Thompson.
He received his education in Orangeburg County School District at Roberts High School.
After traveling to many different states and cities, Sam met the love of his life at age 16. After marrying Gloria Brown (Puddin Pie), who was deceased in 2019, they became dedicated parents to five amazing children. Sam relocated to Galivants Ferry where he enjoyed working in construction as well as farming for many years before God called him home. Sam will be remembered as a loving husband, and supportive/caring father to his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter (Laylabug).
Sam enjoyed fishing with his sons and working on antique cars/trucks. He also loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles during his youth.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Micky Nash and Michael Nash; three daughters, Brenda Nash, Valarie Nash and Dinah Nash Wilson; grandchildren, Dalasia Nash, De'Quinnen Nash, Ca'prisha Nash, and Shi'leek Nash; one great-granddaughter, Layla Nash.
