Ruth Banks Brown

Ruth Banks Brown, the daughter of the late Dorothy Mae Banks McMillan and the late Roscoe Kearse, was born in May 8, 1962 in Holly Hill, SC.

Ruth was a 1980 graduate of Roberts High School. She received her Dental Assistant Degree from dental school of Boston.

She was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Missionary Church where she served as an usher.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Brown; and her siblings, Mattie T. Bryant and Willie L. McMillan. 

On June 8, 2020 Ruth received her Heavenly wings and leaves to cherish her fond memories: siblings; Rosa Lee (Larry) McMillan, Dorothy A. (Leroy) Grant, Jr., Larry (Valerie) McMillan and Tommy McMillan, all of Holly Hill, SC; in-laws, Teresa Ann Taste of Cross, SC, Georgetta Kennedy of Bowman, SC, Debra Carolina Brown and Willie Mae (Christopher) Gaston of Eutawville, SC, Samuel Michael (Patricia) Brown of Bronx, NY, and Bryon (Joyce) Brown of Woodbridge, VA; a long-time friend, Cathy J. Peeples of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
