Rose Mary Davis

Rose Mary Davis was born October 31,1960 in Estill, South Carolina to the late Burnice and Slice Williams. She moved to Miami,Florida, where she attended school in Hialeah, Fla. Rose was loving and kind, she was loved every where she went especially in her community. While in Florida, she met and married the love of her life, John H. Davis in May 1995. These two were inseparable. They decided in 2002 to relocate to her husband John hometown in Eutawville, SC, where she spent the remaining of her life.

She joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Eutawville and enjoyed singing on the choir.

She worked as a Pressor for serveral cleaner companies, including Dixie Cleaners for eleven years in Holly Hill, SC up until the time of her death. Her favorite color was purple and mostly she just enjoyed talking and meeting people. She was a peoples person with a beautiful spirit that will never be forgotten.

Rose was preceded in death by her children: Window and Byron (Pee Wee) Davis, Siblings: Linda, Sarah, David, and Willie; two brother-in-love: George Charlie and Jerome Davis.

Rose leaves behind to cherish her sweet memories: Her loving and devoted husband, John H. Davis; children: Elaine (Raymond) Roberts, Bruce (Gloria) Davis, Tina Davis, Monica Mitchell, Bernard (Vern) Davis, and Wayne Joyner; two brothers: Burnice Williams Jr. and Ronnie (Sharon) Williams; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-love: Dr.Henrietta Lawrence, Herman (Albertha) Davis, Stormy Davis, Anne Ruth Davis, Lousie Davis, Marshall Davis, Elder Sadie (LaBron) Brown, and Annie Bell (Stanley) Wright; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
