Robert Patrick Jones

Robert Patrick Jones, the son of the late Flora Lee Jones, was born on August 11, 1963 in Holly Hill, South Carolina.  He departed this life on Monday, June 8, 2020 at home.  He grew up in Holly Hill and graduated from Roberts High School  in 1981.  He retired from Star Redi Mix  in Harleyville, SC.  At an early age he accepted Christ as his personal savior and became a member of Greater Unity AME Church where he was a member of Brother Johnny Smalls Class.  “Pat”, as he was affectionately known to many, was a kind hearted person. He believed in working hard in life and loved nice cars. Robert leaves behind to cherish his fond memories: two sons:  Sedrick Drayton, Elloree SC and Patrick Drayton Santee SC;  two aunts: Ida Kay Bennett and Carrie Benjamin of Holly, SC; one uncle, James (Judy) Benjamin of Miami Fla; two special friends: Johnny Collier and Johnny Smalls; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
