Mother Ollie Mae Mitchum Rivers was born March 26, 1936 in Eutawville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Green and Charlie Mitchum.
Mother Ollie was a beautiful person who helped others in anyway she could. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Mother had a welcoming spirit, a big heart, and an unforgettable smile. Mother loved living life to the fullest and enjoyed extensive traveling, especially boat cruises.
Mother Ollie, was a faithful member of Eutawville Deliverance Center, The Eastern Stars, and Sons and Daughters of Job.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Washington Rivers; son: Michael Rivers and her siblings.
Mother Ollie transitioned from her earthly home to her Heavenly home to receive her reward on Friday, April 9, 2021 with her daughter by her bedside.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: her loyal daughters: Deloris (Walter) Mack of St. Helena Island, SC; Patsy (Clifford) Snider of Charleston, SC; and Teresa James of Eutawville, SC; tow sons: Washington (Annette) Rivers, Jr of Greenville, SC and Stanley (Beverly) Yeadon; daughter-in-love: Josephine Rivers of Summerville, SC; sisters and bothers-in-love: Annie Mae Rivers, Bernice Rivers, William & Mary Rivers, Robert Rivers, MacArthur & Betty Ann Rivers, and Inez Mitchell; one aunt: Carrie Mitchum; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends.
