Norris Glenn Williams, Sr. the son of the late James Williams and the late Eva Lee Ellis Williams, was born on September 30, 1953 in Washington, DC.
Norris grew up in Washington, DC. At the young age, he became a member of Four Gospel Baptist Church until moving to Holly Hill, SC and attended World of Faith until moving to Charlotte, NC. Norris received his education in public schools of Washington, DC.
On December 27, 2018, a loving father and a caring brother departed this life. He will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, James Williams, mother Eva Lee Ellis Williams, brothers James "Son" Williams, Earnel Williams, Joseph L. Williams; and sisters Eva Ann Blankley and Shirley Ann Cason.
Norris leaves his cherished memories with his children, Elizabeth Sims, Darleen Flowe, Norris Glen Williams, Jr., Latosha (Anthony) Barton, Selanda (Jonathan) Brown, Keyona Sheppard; six sisters, Helen McMillan, Annie Mae Harris, Gladys Marie Walker, Dorothy Mae Rogers, Mary Ann (Walter) Shannon, and Armetia Cato; four brothers, Ernest Sheppard, Ronnie (Elizabeth) Williams, Benjamin Sheppard, Nathaniel Williams; one sister-in-law, Shelby Jean Williams; 14 Grandchildren; 1 Great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
