Nathaniel Summers, Jr.

On Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 5:00AM, God called his son, Bro. Nathaniel Summers, Jr. to his Eternal home. He was born on December 14, 1942 to the Late Nathaniel Summers, Sr. and Katherine Summers in Vance, SC.

At an early age he traveled to the Bronx, New York where he worked as a Mortician Assistant at Albert Einstein Hospital. He accepted Christ at an early age and was faithful in helping people work wherever he was. While there, he met and married the love of his life, Carolyn Thomas on June 24, 1964. To that union they were blessed with one beloved child, Crystal.

After retirement he moved back to Vance, SC where he joined Rock Hill AME Church. He was a faithful, dedicated supporter of the Lord’s work. As a gifted and talented man of faith, he was a member with many of the auxiliaries of the Church. Some of them included: Pastor’s Aide Board, Trustee Board, Custodian, Videographer, Choir Member and Photographer.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: his loving and devoted wife: Carolyn of home; daughter: Crystal (Nathaniel) Anthony of New York; two granddaughters: Jada and Jordyn Anthony, of New York; and one sister: Cynthia Thomas of Texas, a host of loving first cousins, friends, and family members.

He leaves a Genuine and loving relation with his Wife, Daughter, Son-in-law, Granddaughters, Church Family and Community.
