Muriel Evangaline Smith was born October 21, 1935, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Belfield and Miriam Crichlow; from thís union seven children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, and five siblings.
Muriel graduated from Sarah J. Hale Vocational High School. She also attended a trade school for dressmaking. Her hobbies were making custom clothing, baking and cooking for family and friends.
Muriel began studying with Jehovah's Witnesses and was baptized on July 21, 1953. She faithfully served Jehovah and never wavered. She enjoyed talking to others about her Bible-based beliefs.
Muriel married Robert L. Smith, her loving and devoted husband, on June 2, 1956. She and Robert were more than marriage mates, they were best friends.
