Mr. Sammie Wright

Mr. Sammie Wright, son of the late Louis and Lilah Wright, was born February 16,1946 in Cross, South Carolina. He entered heavenly eternal rest on December 30,2020 at the St. George Health Care Center in St. George, South Carolina.

He received his education at Cross public schools in Cross, South Carolina. He was employed by Georgia Pacific in Holly Hill, South Carolina for several years. At an early age, he became a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Cross, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Eva Mae Wright, two sons; Mr. Shawn A. Wright and Mr. Geno L. Wright, parents Mr. Louis and Lilah Wright. 

He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories, two sons, Mr. Marvin Wright of Holly Hill, SC and Mr. Ralph Wright of Santee, SC.; one daughter, Ms. Brenda Void of Orangeburg, SC.; his grandchildren: Marvin A. Wright, Nakema Wright, Dontrell Wright, Keyarian Wright, Asia Wright, Shakema Wright, Lakendra Wright, Adraine (Terrill) Attipoe, Shakiya Void, Shanika Void, and Jauwan Void; his great-grandchildren: Raleigh Wright, Jaiden Attipoe and Alaya Void; his sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Washington and Mrs. Janette (Marty) Wright; his brothers: William Wright, James Wright, Leon Wright, Elijah Geathers, and Curtis Geathers; his sisters-in-law: Mrs. Ella Mae (Rev. Manuel) Fogle, Ms. Goldie M. Void, Ms. Elouise Void, Mrs. Shirley Jones, Ms. Thelma Void; his brother-in-law: Mr. Lee Johnson, Mr. Wallace Void, Mr. Leon Void, Mr. Isaac ( Mary) Void, and Mr. Eddie (Phylena) Void. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  Due to the high rise of COVID-19, family is having limited visitations.
