Mother Annie Green, was born in Barnwell, SC on January 25, 1932, to the late Manley Jenkins and Easter Ford Jenkins. She was one of 11 children.
Mother Green began her Christian walk at an early age and attended Emanuel Pentecostal Faith Church in Bronx, NY. After spending some time in New York, she moved back to her hometown of Barnwell, SC, and attended Bethel Holiness of Varnville. In 1980, Mother Green moved to Greenville, SC where she and her husband, Bishop Willie Green founded Mount Moriah Holiness Church. She served as Pastor for 10 years before moving to Summerville, SC.
In 2003, Mother Green became a disciple of Fresh Anointing Ministries Worship Center in Summerville, SC. There she inspired many with her love and wisdom. Mother Green loved going to church and praising God. She was a prayer warrior and friend to many.
Mother Annie Green is survived by one brother, Terry Jenkins of Barnwell, SC; four sons, James Harrison (Lynette) of Summerville, SC; Bleze Harrison (Trina) of Bronx, NY; John Whitten (Stephanie) of Easley, SC; and Darryl Harrison of Charlotte, NC; 7 step children; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
