Mother Annafene Goodman Soleyn

Mrs. Annafene Goodman Soleyn, more affectionately known as “Peach” was born to the late Mr. Lawrence Milligan Sr. and Mrs. Beauty Chavis. Milligan in Berkley County, Moncks Corner SC on August 24th , 1936. She departed this life on April 6th , 2023.

Mrs. Annafene “Peach” received her education in the public school system of Berkeley County and her Christian upbringing in Moncks Corner Baptist Church. She left Moncks Corner and went to Brooklyn, New York in 1960 where she resided and worked as the supervisor of Nutrition for over 30 years at Bedford Stuyvesant Early childhood development Center until her retirement in 1999. She returned home to Moncks Corner around 2005 and married Reynold Soleyn in January of 2005.

“Peach” loved to travel and has visited many places around the world. She also loved to shop and has an extensive shoe collection. She also loved expensive pocketbooks and Jewelry. Peach loved her family and loved having a good time playing cards and laughing. She also loved talking on the phone and would sit in her chair by the window and talk for hours.

She was preceded in death by her late father Lawrence Milligan Sr., Her Mother, Beauty C Milligan, her brothers Lawrence Milligan Jr. and Matthew Milligan and her Grandson Stephen Isaiah Milligan.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband of 17 years Deacon Reynold Soleyn, her Children, Larry T. Milligan Sr. (Joyce) of Sumter SC, and Charles Douglas Goodman of Monck Corner SC. Berna Scott (Steve), of Hampton VA, Norvel Soleyn, and Joel Soleyn (Martine) of New Jersey. She also leaves her memories to her grandchildren, Larry T. Milligan Jr. (Toya),Yasmeen Benton(Byron), Brian Scott (Crystal), Brandon Scott (Taegan), and Romare Antrobus;  A special Niece Mrs. Deborah Ogburn (Doug) and Nephew, Cornelius Milligan of Brooklyn New York, 6 great grandchildren, a sister in-law Vera Milligan (Larry) and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
