Michael Frazier

Michael Frazier was born on March 12, 1958 in Charleston, SC to the late Alfonso Giles and Vivian F. Baker. He received his education in the Orangeburg County Schools.

Michael accepted the Lord and joined Spring Hill Baptist Church at an early age.   He was employed many years ago with Butler Ware and Westbury Trucking Companies.    Michael had many hobbies which included cooking on the grill, drawing & art work, fast talking, and enjoyed making people laugh.

He is preceded in death by his three sisters: Laura Baker, Janie Baker, and Marjorie Lavall.  He departed this life at the age of 64 on Thursday, February 16, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his daughter: Shawquana Summers (Randy) of Moncks Corner, SC; his loving mother: Vivian Baker of Vance, SC; one grandson: Mi’Quan Fennick of Charleston, SC; brothers: Carlton Baker (Tameka) of Fayetteville, NC and Curtis Baker (Tiandra) of Vance, SC; sisters: Alice Baker of Eutawville, SC, Angela Martin (Maurice) of Leesburg, FL and Sharonica Baker of Fort Washington, Maryland; aunts: Barbara Frazier and Constance Singleton (Alfred) of Jacksonville, FL; uncles: Hadrick Husser (Carrie) of Cross, SC, Gerald Singleton (Gwen), Greg Singleton, Wayne Singleton, Jerome Singleton and Herbert Singleton all of Jacksonville, FL; special cousin: Charlotte Jewell of Charleston, SC; special friends, Willie & Lula Gethers, David Brown, Moses & Betty Johnson, Willis Bailey, Barbara West; and a host of relatives and friends.
