Melvin Legard Carrier

Melvin Legard Carrier was born June 6, 1939 to Cabell Henning Carrier and Florida Dupree Carrier of Tampa, Florida.

Melvin entered into eternal life peacefully on Monday morning February 19th, 2024 at his home in Columbia South Carolina.

Melvin was a custom builder in Tampa Florida for 40 years after retiring Melvin moved to Charleston, South Carolina where he lived for two years, until buying his dream home in Columbia, South Carolina.

Melvin united holy matrimony to Mrs. Toni Oliver Carrier for 32 loving years.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Cabell Carrier Jr and one nephew. 

Melvin leaves to honor his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Toni Carrier; one sister, Nancy Vildibill of St. Petersburg, Florida; one sister-in-law, Nancy Davis of Athens, Alabama; three nephews, one niece, two loving nurses, Sheila Rivers and Juanita Smith along with a host of family and friends.
