Marionett Haynes, departed this life on March 30, 2021. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend, will truly be missed by all.
Marionett (Renet) Haynes was born on July 17, 1964 in Holly Hill, SC to the late Jannie Ruth Witherspoon.
Marionett grew up in Santee, SC and attended the public schools of Orangeburg School District Three. She graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High School.
Marionett dedicated her entire life to caring for her children, grandchildren and loved ones.
Renet, as family and friends would call her, was a very giving person. Renet would go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed and always made sure that everyone else was well taken care of. Renet enjoyed spending quality time with her family.
Marionett leaves to cherish her fond memories: her devoted husband, Peter Haynes, of the home; two sons, Johnathon and Holden Witherspoon, of Santee, SC; two daughters, Celeste Davis and Kishona Leonard; thirteen grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Lizzie) Witherspoon, of Nichols, SC, Marion (Pricilla) Witherspoon, of Orangeburg, SC, Tyrone (Katrina) Witherspoon, of Santee, SC; six sisters, Ruth Mae (Herbert) Young, of Boston, MA; Louqueen Witherspoon, of Vance, SC; Mary (Herbert) Void, of Santee, SC; Delores Witherspoon, of Nichols, SC, Dianne Goodwin, of Elloree, SC; two sisters-in-law, Pernese and Daisy Williams of Elloree, SC; and a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
