Mr. Julius Elmore, the son of the late Eva Lee Elmore, was born on January 4, 1935, in Orangeburg County. Mr. Julius Elmore entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 30, 2022.
Julius grew up in the Holly Hill Community and then later resided in the Santee Community, he received his education through the Holly Hill public schools. He was a member of Greater Unity AME Church of Holly Hill, SC.
Julius enjoyed Agricultural work for most of his adult life; until becoming unable to work or care for himself. His sister Mary, then became his primary caregiver for the remainder of his days here on earth. Julius’s favorite past time was being surrounded by his family.
Julius was proceeded in death by two sisters: Louise Elmore (Holly Hill, SC) and Dorothy Bessant (Nichols, SC); four brothers; Sammy Lee Elmore (Holly Hill, SC), Perry Foster (Santee, SC), John Henry Elmore (Holly Hill, SC) and Harry Lee Elmore (Newark, NJ).
Julius leaves to cherish his memories: two sisters Mary Ann (Herbert) Void of Santee, SC and Elouise (Perry) Bessant of Mullins, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and a special niece and secondary caregiver of the home, Geraldine Elmore.
