Lizzie Mae Pyatt

Mrs. Lizzie M. Pyatt was born in Brunswick County, North Carolina on June 28,1925 to the late William Roscoe Davis and Bessie Jane Gause. She attended public-school in her native county. 

She began her Christan walk at an early age at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Shallotte, NC. After moving to Myrtle Beach, SC, she joined Sandy Grove MBC where she worshipped until failing health caused her to move to Summerville, SC with her daughter and son-in-law. She joined Mt. Moriah MBC in North Charleston, SC and was a member ther until her death. 

During her years in Myrtle Beach, she befriended and helped many people.She had a special affection for young people. If there was a need she was always willing to help. She had a special bond with her cousins, especially Cousin Francis, and they were always glad to see each other to fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr.Jerry Pyatt.  

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs.Thelma G. Bell (Ernest) of Summerville, SC; three adopted sons, Alphonso Timmy Pyatt (Dorethea) of Myrtle Beach; Melvin Nesbitt (Loretta) of Santee; Micheal Nesbitt of Myrtle Beach; twelve grandchildren: Anthony (Ashana) Bell; Natashia Bell Geddis; Erica (Kenyatta) Seward, Eric (Angel) Bell, Derrick Pyatt, Tomisha Pyatt, Tevin Pyatt, Jennifer Nesbitt, Alton (Ashley) Nesbit, Kierra Pickett ( Deceased), Trevon Nesbitt and Josh Oxindine, and host of great grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
