Leila "Dottie" Green, known for her humble and grateful spirit, was born on December 25, 1957, in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. On August 15, 2023, in the peaceful city of Eutawville, SC, she departed this earthly life, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of respect and love for all.

Dottie, is survived by siblings Catherine Blanchard of South Carolina, Linda Clark of Maryland, Gracie Stinson of Florida and John Green Jr. of the home, South Carolina.  She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and host of cousins relatives and friends.   She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandmother Leila Mae Green, Dear Mother and Father, Hattie Mae Bannister and William Francis Brown; her brothers:  Johnny Green, Paul Brown, and William F. Brown Jr.

During her time on Earth, Dottie's journey led her to Orangeburg County Public School, where she received her primary education. With a heart filled with compassion, Dottie dedicated her life to the sacred role of a caregiver. Through her service, she instilled hope and offered solace to those who needed it most.

Guided by her unwavering faith, Dottie radiated a gentle warmth that touched the lives of those around her. Her conversations were not mere exchanges but heartfelt encounters that left laughter and lasting impressions. She possessed a humble demeanor, always appreciative of the blessings bestowed upon her by the Divine.

Today, we pause to remember the beautiful life of Dottie, to honor her gentle spirit, and to express our gratitude for having shared our journey with hers. Let us reflect upon the lessons she taught us - to embrace humility, to extend kindness, and to deeply respect every being in the tapestry of his creation.

As we bid farewell to our beloved Dottie, let us find solace in knowing that she has been called to greater purposes in the realm beyond. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory forever serve as a beacon of inspiration for us, reminding us of the value of a life well-lived.

In humble remembrance, we invite all who mourn her passing to gather and join in recollection and gratitude for the life of this remarkable woman. May Dottie's spirit grace our hearts for eternity.
