Lee Royal Isaac

We celebrate the life of Mr. Lee Royal Isaac, known to all as Leroy. Leroy, the son of the late John A. and Lizzie Isaac was born April 24, 1950, in Orangeburg County. He departed this life on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Lowcountry Community Hospice House in Summerville, SC. Leroy grew up in Eutawville, SC and attended the public schools there. At an early age, he
joined Springfield Baptist Church, in Eutawville, SC. Leroy later relocated to Holly Hill, SC. During this time, he became a member of Lovely Hill Baptist Church under leadership of the late
Reverend A. C. Wright.
Leroy was dedicated to his craft of caring for lawns. You could find him any day taking care of lawns in Bennett Circle, Holly Hill, SC, and the lawns of his family members. His hard work
stretched from Tobacco Farm Way, NC to Whiteface Inn-Lake Placid, NY to Augusta National Golf Club-Augusta, GA. Leroy was employed for Wiles Tire Service, Holly Hill, SC, for many
years.
He loved his family unconditionally and loved spending time with them. He was the life of any family gathering and family vacations, which earned him the nickname “CAP.” For he kept
everyone on their toes, with his unique and smooth moves and witty sayings. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents: John A. and Lizzie Isaac; five sisters: Anna Bell
Isaac, Rosa Bell Fuller, Linda Isaac, Lillie Mae Isaac, and Laura Butler; four brothers: John Isaac, Jr., Daniel Isaac, Harvey “Quincy” Isaac, and Eugene Isaac.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, wife Martha Isaac of Holly Hill, SC; his devoted and loving daughter: Gloria (Wille Lee) Isaac, of Holly Hill, SC; step-son: Lorenzo Waring of Holly Hill,
SC; one grand-son: Gemetrius Montel Isaac of Holly Hill, SC; one grand-daughter: Wilesa B. Johnson, of Holly Hill, SC; two great-grands: Jaliyah and Jalen Isaac of Orangeburg, SC; two
sisters: Elizabeth (Fred) Hamilton of Long Island, NY and Vivian (Lewis) Goff of Walterboro, SC; two brothers: Willie (Debra) Isaac of New York, NY and James “Ricky” Isaac of Santee, SC; two
brothers-in-law: Reverend Willie (Betty) Waring and Nathaniel Waring, both of Holly Hill, SC; three sisters-in-law: Delephine Weldon and Sarah R. Anderson, both of Holly Hill, SC; and
Jacqueline Fuller of Rock Hill, SC; two special aunts: Margaret Neal of Santee, SC and Mattie Mae Amos of Philadelphia, PA; a special nephew: Gelzer Weldon, Jr. of Augusta, GA, and a host
of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will miss him dearly.
