Ms. LaToya Curtissa Mack, the daughter of Ruth Mack and the Late James Curtis Bennett was born on July 22, 1984, in Holly Hill, SC. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, SC.
She was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg School District 3. She graduated from Lake Marion High School and Technology Center in 2005.
She accepted Christ as her person Savior and became a member of Greater Unity AME Church, where she was under the class leader Ms. Betty Ann Miller.
Latoya was preceded in death by her father James Curtis Bennett. Latoya will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving mother Ruth Mack of Holly Hill, SC; two sisters, Annette R. Mack, of Eutawville, SC and Victoria Mack of Holly Hill, SC; nephew, Detwine Gadson; nieces, Camella & Camilla Gadson; maternal grandmother, Catherine Mack of Holly Hill, SC; paternal grandmother, Ida Kay Bennett of Holly Hill, SC; aunts, Rose Lee Fisher of Orangeburg, SC, Mary Smith, Martha Nelson, Marylin (Issac) White, Sharon Mack, Margaret Bookhart, and Vallie Bennett of Holly Hill, SC, Patricia Devine of Elloree, SC; uncles, Amos (Beverly) Mack of Bowman, SC, Hosea (Sarah) Mack of Aiken, SC, and David Bennett of Holly Hill, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
