Mrs. Latisha Shania “Mooka” Myers Powell daughter of Maebell (Michael) Rivers and Stanley Randolph  was born February 24,1988 entered eternal rest on Monday, June 17, 2024, in Orangeburg, SC.

Latisha was born in Orangeburg County and reared in the big city of Vance South Carolina. Latisha attended school in Orangeburg Consolidated Three public school and is a graduate of Lake Marion High School and Technology Center Class of 2006. Latisha was employed in various jobs that allowed her come into contact with many that became friends then family. Latisha’s employment started with Country Corner and spanned over the years to currently being employed with Jordan Transportation of St. Matthews until her passing. Latisha become and entrepreneur when she launched Molly P Collections, which specialized in custom T-shirts and accessories.

Latisha had a heart of gold and a smile of sunshine. Latisha was the party planner extraordinaire and the life of the party. Latisha was the kind of woman that loved and laugh with her whole heart. When in her presence she would never give you the chance to think about your problems, because there was too much laughing in the room. Latisha loved the adventures of life, and the most rewarding and amazing adventure was motherhood. Latisha loved, cherished, and adored her baby girl Myrie. Latisha enjoyed being and mother and wife.

Latisha is preceded in death by great grandmother Estell “Mamoo” Myers, who she affectionately called “my Stell”; grandparents: Vernette Pettiford and Benjamin”Pat” Randolph; stepmother: Levern Randolph; nephew: Keyshawn Alvin; aunt: Bernice Profit; uncles, Ronnie (Debra Ann Myers), Wille and Harold Capers; cousin Antionette “Squeekie” Ashby.

Latisha leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Terry Powell and adoring daughter Amyrie Powell of the home; her mother and best friend Mabell(Michael) Myers Rivers of Vance, SC; father Stanley Randolph, of Vance, SC; grandmothers Pearline Myers and Mary Jane Brown both of Vance, SC; loving sisters: Cadidra(Michael)Asbury, Jalasha Rivers, Michelle Rivers, and Shakyra Bunch; doting brothers: Terry Elliott, Depedro Randolph, Stanley Randolph, Warren Davis, Michael(Monique) Myers, Zachary Rivers, and Jaqwese Rivers; aunts: Detra (Tony) Williams, Barbara Capers, Maggie Blocker; uncles: Joe Lewis Smalls, Robert (Susie) Randolph, Charles Capers Gregory, Darrell Anderson, Jonathan (Shirley) Rivers, William(Shereka)Rivers, and Timmy Profit, Sr.; sisters-in-law: Regena and Passion Powell; great aunts: Maebell Elmore, Ella Mack, Lucky Myers, and Minnie Olin; godchildren: Catara Washington, Makayla Rush, Arianna Jamison, and Demauri Clark; godmothers; Lizzie Myers Williams and Cynthia Mack Ashby; Special Friends Danyell Rivers, Shanequa Anderson and Jasmine Brown; 23 nieces and nephews, 2 great niece and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
