Kristen Lanae was born on May 18 th, 1988, to the late Robert Johnson and Deborah Johnson at the Good
Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York.
Kristen grew up in Columbus, Ohio until the age of seven when she relocated to Moncks Corner, South
Carolina. She attended Berkeley County schools until she moved back to Columbus, Ohio to finish her
schooling at West High School in Columbus, Ohio.
Kristen always possessed an entrepreneurial mindset. She was most definitely a “mover and a shaker”
and was the Queen of “making it happen!” Kristen was the CEO of Johnsonian Incorporated, a parent
company for a variety of small business ventures she created. Johnsonian Inc. was a tribute to her late
father, Robert Johnson – owner and founder of Johnsonian Catering. Kristen believed in building an
empire to leave a legacy. She was such a smart and creative individual.
At the age of 32, Kristen started on her journey of motherhood. On August 27 th , 2020 she gave birth to a
beautiful baby girl, Sabrina Ann Johnson in Summerville, South Carolina. Sabrina carried her
grandmother’s middle name, “Ann”, to establish legacy. Sabrina was affectionately called “Brina”, “Brina
the Pooh”, and “Bri” by those that loved her. Sabrina was such a quiet little lady, until she was ready to
have fun! She most loved to play with her cousins and be around family. Sabrina enjoyed musicals like
her Mommy. Sound of Music and Alice and Wonderland were her favorite things to watch along with
Kristen and Sabrina were such alike. They were quiet and sweet souls. Kristen often called Sabrina her
“Mini Me” and everyone who looked upon Sabrina’s beautiful face would definitely agree with that! The
both of them had such beautiful smiles that lit up any room they were in. No smile was brighter than
Kristens’ smile on the day that her true love and soulmate, Avenger Brown proposed to her. He loved
Kristen and Sabrina dearly and was committed to providing a healthy and prosperous life for their family
unit. While unfortunate, we take comfort that they all gained their wings together. The memories that
their family and friends have of them will be forever cherished. Anyone fortunate to meet and know any
of them are blessed indeed.
