Joyce Ann Natalee Howell

Ms. Joyce Ann Natalee Howell was born on February 25, 1949 to the late Willie Howell, Sr. and Lille Bennett Howell in Orangeburg County. At an early age, Joyce attended Johnson Temple Church. She graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High in 1968, then she got into housekeeping.

Even though Joyce was a mother of four kids, she loved so many other kids and helped take care of many. everyone loved her. She touched lives of many. Joyce could fix any and everything. She was her own plumber, electrician and auto mechanic. She loved the outdoors. She also loved listening to her old school music and dancing. She was known by her nickname "J-Boogie," because she was most definitely the life of the party.

Joyce was definitely a pillow of strength to her kids and grandkids. She also loved and adore her siblings. She didn't let anything bother her. She had such a beautiful spirit.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Willie Howell, Sr.; Mother, Lillie Howell; five brothers, Willie Howell, Jr., Benjamin Howell, Mac Arthur Howell, Isreal Howell and Ronald Howell; one sister, Vernette Howell.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memories: One daughter, Yolanda (Wade) Brown whom she lived with in Orangeburg, SC; Three sons, Frederick (Nicole) Howell of Holly Hill, SC, Joseph (Tymisha) Mayo, Jr. of Norfolk, VA and Alteric Howell of Orangeburg, SC; her granddaughter Alexus Howell of North Charleston, SC who she raised as her daugher; Three brothers, Bishop Donald (Cathedral) Howell, Sr. of Summerville, SC, Bishop Louis (Beverly) Howell, Sr. of Orangeburg, SC, Rodney Hezekiah (Juanita) Howell, Sr. of Killeen, TX; Two sisters, Pastor Victoria (Alexander) Leach of Wagram, NC and Elease Howell of Newark, NJ; Two sister-in-laws, Jessie Lee Howell of Newark, NJ and Eula Howell of Holly Hill, SC; Thirteen grand kids, Laneka Elmore, Sanquinese Bryant, Ebone Howell, Nakeya Howell, Justin Hill, Brianna Howell, Demetrius Mayo, Nivek Ellis, Amarri Howell, Alyssa Mayo, Patrick Berry II, Da'Yani Montgomery and Ble'Syn Brown; Two great-grand kids, Makenzie Steger and Zyon Taste and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends,
