Joseph Small, son of Jessie Small and the late Tommie L. Small of Holly Hill, SC, was born on September 13, 1949. He departed this world on January 9, 2025.
Joseph, better known as “Joe” or “Dad the Man,” grew up in South Carolina. He moved to Boston at an early age and was employed at the Railroad Company until he moved back to South Carolina.
Joe loved God, helping people, and spending time with family and friends. Joe was a very dependable person; if you needed a ride or a favor, Joe was only a phone call away.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tommie L. Small; his brother, Jacob Small; and two sisters.
