On April 29, 2021 God called Jermaine D’Angilo “Lope” Crawford home and he answered the call. He was a very loving son, father, brother, fiancé and friend that may be gone but will never be forgotten.
On May 19, 1980, Mr. Benjamin and Rosa Crawford welcomed their first born Jermaine D’Angilo Crawford into the world.
Jermaine attended Vance and Holly Hill schools. He completed his GED at Bamberg Job Corp. While there, he majored in Auto Body. He was employed at Banks in Jedburg as a Front End Loader. He also worked for Craven and Santee Dock Builders.
Lope was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ealie & Reather Jamison and Benjamin & Florence Crawford; one aunt, Priscilla Jamison; and two uncles; Alonzo Crawford and Eli Jamison.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his loving parents: Rosa Crawford of Eutawville, SC; and Benjamin Crawford of Vance, SC; one sister: Keyona Crawford of Vance, SC; his fiancé’ of 16 years: Glenrita Gaddist of Eutawville, SC; children: Deon Gaddist, Treyvion, Jamerion, Jermaine, Jorden, and Nevaeh Crawford; three stepsons: Delquion Gaddist, Wendel Gaddist, and Delmontae Gaddist; ten aunts: Theresa (Frank) Martin of Orangeburg, SC, Cynthia Crawford of Holly Hill, SC, Vergie Jamison, Yvonne Jamison, and Jackie Jamison all of Vance, SC, Sharon (Malcom) Young of Chester, SC, Lucinda Jamison of St. George, SC, Peggy Ceasar of Goose Creek, SC, Betty Mayzck, of St. Stephen, SC, and Gearldine Washington of New Jersey; two uncles: Michael Crawford of New York and Bill Thompson of Goose Creek, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends
