Jannie Ruth Baker

Jannie Ruth Baker, the daughter of the late Louis Baker and Annette Young Baker, was born on January 17, 1960 in Vance, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 suddenly, at the age of 58 years at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina. 

Jannie grew up in Vance, South Carolina and attended public schools there. 

Ms. Baker leaves to cherish loving and beautiful memories: nine children: Shannon Limehouse Baker (Latasha) of the home, Shakeria Washington, Keishay Collins, and Kimberly Baker all of Charleston, SC; Brittany Williams of Charlotte, NC; Shaquan and Shavon Williams of Orangeburg, SC; Kendrick Baker or Eutawville, SC and Kenneth Bovian of Columbia, SC. Her sisters and brothers, Laura Brunson (Willie) of Bowman, SC, Alice Baker of Eutawville, SC, Marjorie Laval (Willie) of Vance, SC, Angela Baker-Martin (Maurice) of Leesburg, FL, Sharonica Baker of Maryland, Carlton Baker (Tomeka) of Fayetteville, NC, Curtis Baker of Vance, SC, and Michael Frazier of Eutawville, SC; a stepmother, Vivian Ravanell Baker of Vance, SC, eleven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, relatives, and friends. 

The family will be receiving mailed condolences at 313 Mill Creek Road, Vance, SC 29163.
