Mr. James “Buster” Mack son of the late Icelean Nesbit Mack and Joseph Mack was born on June 3rd 1947 in Charleston South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Monday January 15th 2024.
James “Buster” as many knew him attended Murray Hill Elementary and Bonds Wilson High School in Charleston S.C. Buster dropped out of High School at an early age to provide for his family.
Buster attended Union Baptist Church at an early age. In the early 1990’s he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Tabernacle Baptist Church in Eutawville S.C. where he was president of the Trustee Board and a member of the Deacon Board. Buster was preceded in death by two brothers Joseph Pendergrass and Freddie Mack and one sister Elizabeth President.
Buster leaves to cherish his memories four sons, James Buster Mack Jr. of Miami, Fl, Daryl Mack of Charleston, SC, Kent Carson (Kathy) of Jedburg, SC, and Kieffe Carson (Tess) of NY. Four daughters Katrina Mack of Charleston, SC, Tawanda Owens (Wendell) of Maryland, Alta Little (Montez) of Holly Hill, SC, and Porscha Hobdy of Austin, TX, One forever in his heart daughter in law Tammy Washington of New York, 18 grands and 19 great grands, two sisters, Lillie Mack and Alberta Smith (Ike) both of Charleston, SC, and one brother Andrew Mack of Charleston SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
