Mr. Jacob Williams, son of the late Hosten and Margaret Lambright Williams, was born on August 31, 1957 in Holly Hill, SC. Jacob entered into eternal rest on Saturday at the home on November 16 , 2019.
Jacob grew up in Holly Hill, SC where he attended public schools. He was a very hard working man and was employed at several places. He loved fishing and hanging out with friends and family.
Jacob later joined Solid Rock Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Donald C. Howell.
He was preceded in death by four sisters: Rosa Mae Burden, Geneva Sweat, Catherine Williams Sweatman, and Joyce L. Dunlap; and three brothers: Micheal Benjamin, Isaac Williams, and Silas “Jimmy” Williams.
Jacob leaves to cherish his fond memories: children; Porsha and Travis Martin, both of Holly Hill, SC; eight grandchildren: Jonasia Sheppard, Johnnie Elmore, III, Traviyanna Martin, Zamariah Martin, Travis Martin, Jr., Zamarion Martin, Justin James, and Denaria Reaves; one great-grandchild: Johnnie Elmore, IV., all of Eutawville, SC; sisters: Carolyn Haywood, of the home, Jessie Mae Green and Rebecca (Abraham) Bookhart, both of Orangeburg, SC, Penny Ann Williams of Holly Hill, SC, Joann Jefferson, and Sarah (Eugene) Elmore both of Vance, SC, Barbara Ann Benjamin of Summerville, SC, and Jeannett B. Johnson of Boston, MA.; one brother: Retired Sgt. Lavern (Rudine) Bailey of Kileen, TX; three aunts: Ida Kay Bennette of Holly Hill, SC, Florence (Boosie Gal) Collier of Santee, SC, and Catherine Elmore, of Holly Hill, SC; three uncles: Charley Williams of Holly Hill, SC, Rev. Mark Williams, of Grand Bay, Alabama, and Fred Williams of Orlando, Florida; nephews: RoMaine Haywood and Ayden Haywood of the home, and James Allen Sweat, Santee, SC; Nieces: Niketa Wiliams, La’Quita Williams, and Emoni Rhodes of the home, Christellyn Haywood of Spartanburg, SC; and an additional host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
