Harry Hunt, Jr. Obituary
Mr. Harry Lee Hunt, Jr. known as JR by many was born on November 6, 1947 to
the late Mr. Harry Lee Hunt and Mrs. Daisy Myers Hunt of Holly Hill, SC where he
attended public school.
At a young age, Harry joined the Greater Target Church family where he served as
a faithful member who loved the Lord. Harry worked many odd jos to support his
family and later retired from MI construction company after many years. IN his
leisure time Harry enjoyed building home projects, joking around the fire and
loving on his amazing family.
Harry departed this earth on October 18, 2023 surrounded by love from family
and friends after a battle with extended illness.
Harry was preceded in death by a loving brother, Herbert Lee Hunt and the love
of his life Mamie Lee Martin of 35 years.
He left to cherish sweet memories with his daughter, Trummisa Martin; two step
daughters, Jeanette (James) Lambright, Ann (Michael) Williams all of Holly Hill, SC;
a stepson, Tyrone (LaSonia) Martin of Goose Creek, SC; one brother, Sidney
(Zettie) Hunt of Miami, FL; one sister, Verna Mae (Fread Jones) Smith of St.
George, SC; two grandchildren of the home, Tumasha and Tyonna Martin; 16
grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and a
special brother, Jame Dale Hunt.
