Geraldine Mary Janifer

Geraldine Mary Janifer was born on May 27, 1967 in Washington, D.C. to Pearly and Howard Janifer known as Gerald aka "G." Geraldine was a graduate of Ballou High School in Washington, D.C. She began her career at the Department of State with 30 years of service and was a very dedicated employee. After the passing of her mom Gerald immediately became the matriarch of the family. Gerald ws the first grand-daughter and to know her was to love her she always kept it real and never cut cards.

Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. Gerald loved to entertain and make sure everone had a great time (especially at her bar and pool). She took pride knowing her four children was raised with love. Cruising on a ship and spending time in the casino was her best vacations. Geraldine traveled to different destinations and enjoyed every stop to the fullest. The annual sister's trip was always a trip she looked forward to and enjoyed immensely.

Gerald ws preceded in death by her mother and father (Pearly and Howard); son (Germain), Uncle (William) cousin (Jevonte'). Survived by grandmother (Dorothy); Daughters, (Donat, Donniece and Donnisha); granddaughter, (Dayla); sisters (Crystal, Aletha (Aaron) and Marcia); brother, (Howard); nephews: (David, Christopher, Ronald and Malik); aunts and uncles: (Patricia, Willie, Yvonne, Lucille, Dorothy (Gerald), Delores (Jerry), Herbert, Shelia, Aletha, Geraldine, Crystal, Joyce Velma (Tootsie), Robert, Jimmy, Greg and Rudolph). A devoted friend Rashad Saahir and host of relatives and friends
