George Williams was born September 20, 1967 to Mr. Raymond and Mrs. Hattie Mae WIlliams in Vance, South Carolina. He entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the age of 52. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Raymond Williams, Sr.
George was educated at Vance Elementary and later attended Holly Hill Roberts High School. He obtained his commerical driver's license by completing trucking school and became a successful entrepreneur by establishing his Transportation Company which was perfect for him due to his passion for driving trucks in collaboration with the latest company, Schneider. He enjoyed cooking, collecting old school cars, gun sports, listening to music, and having fun with family and friends.
George loved his daughters whole heartly and was a devoted father, son and brother. His life legacy spoke for itself.
George leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Hattie Mae Williams; two daughters, Amelia Williams, Journey Williams; six sisters, Ruby (James) Palmer, Patricia (Jessie) Lett, Ophelia (Gregory) Carter, Shirley Williams, Lourie Williams, Catherine (Gregory) Murdock; three brothers, Raymond Williams Jr., Robert Williams, Larry (Yvonne) Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
