Geneva (Profit) Gillard

God, in His infinite wisdom, came in the midst of our family and plucked a flower ready for harvest. We bow in humble submission to God's will.

Geneva Profit Gillard, was born August 12, 1965 in Santee, SC. She was the daughter of the late Azo Profit and Mary Lee Sumpter. She entered into eternal rest on April 4, 2021 at Trident Medical Center.

She was 1983 graduate of Holly-Hill Roberts High School. Geneva, was employed with various organizations such as London Fog, Norton, and the World Trade Center in New York City.

At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal savior and served on many auxiliaries in the church.

To this life she cherish and leaves to mourn: six sisters: Mary Ann (James) Prezzy, and Zadie (Rev. Alex) Jefferson both of Holly Hill, SC, Gearldine Hamilton of Santee, SC, Dorothy (Willie) Brown of St. Matthews, SC, Virgie (Lamar) Whaley of Rosedale, NY, and Celia Mae Sumpter, of Vance, SC; seven brothers: Donnell (Marie) Profit, Raymond Profit, and Edward Profit, all of Santee, SC, Willie (Justine) Profit and James (Chantey) Profit of Elloree, SC, John (Gail) Profit and Nathaniel (Lydia) Profit both of Orangeburg, SC; one god-daughter: Martasia Sweat; a very special caregiver/CNA: Mrs. Sharon Mack, who loved her dearly; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
