Ms. Edna Mae Watson, daughter of the late Bradley and Edna Gilliard Watson was born on July 8, 1960, Berkeley County. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Trident Regional Medical Center.
Edna attended the public schools of Orangeburg County. She worked many years at Charles B, DuBose Middle School in Dorchester County as a custodian, and Ramada Inn in Santee, SC.
Her walk with Christ began at an early age at Briner Christain Church in Holly Hill, SC. She later became a member of Solid Rock Int'l Outreach Ministries in Holly Hill, SC where she continued to serve, worship, and praise the Lord faithfully until her passing.
In addition to her loving parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas (Aneta) Johnson, William "Bubba" (Florence) Watson; four sisters, Mary Ann (Chapelle Jr.) Capers, Annie Mae Watson, Vivian (Zachary) Pooser, Pennie (Roger Jr.) Ravenell; three nephews, Eric Watson, Antonio Goodwin, and LJ Watson.
Those who will always cherish her wonderful memories are: her loving and devoted children, two daughters; Felicia and Latasha Watson of Holly Hill, SC; one son, Frederick (Latoya) Watson of Holly Hill, SC; six grandchildren, Jeremiah, Emilee, Jalen, Jamiya, Javeah, and Ladaysha; two special daughters, Quetta and Santanna Huger of Cross, SC; three sisters, Sally Ann (Louis) Collier of Ridgeville, SC, Brazillian Ann (Carson) Watson-Martin of Holly Hill, SC, Eartha LeeWatson of Holly Hill, SC, six brothers John (Louise) Watson, Clinton (Freddie) Watson of Holly Hill, SC, Manning Lee (Augustine) Watson of Cross, SC, Curtis Watson and Willie Watson Jr. both of North Carolina, and Raymond (Betty) Watson of Holly Hill, SC; three spiritual sisters in Christ and friends Bessie Brown of Orangeburg, SC, Cora Glenn of Bowman, SC and Cheryl Swett of Texas, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
