Dorothy "Sister" Olin-Wright, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10,2020. Dorothy was born to the late Mathew and Jessie "Annie Mae" Olin on February 21,1952 in Holly Hill, South Carolina.
Dorothy grew up in Vance, SC and attended Roberts High in Holly Hill, SC where she graduated in 1971. She loved her children, and especially loved her grandchildren and siblings. At an early age, she joined Rock Hill AME Church.
In 1975, Dorothy married the love of her life, the late Harry "Buddy" Wright, Sr. To this union, they were blessed wtih three childdren.
Dorothy was proceeded in death by her parents, Mathew and Jessie Olin; brothers, Mathew Jr. and Pedro Olin; niece, Jennifer Olin, and sister, Wilhemenia Olin.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories to her kids, Harry (Judy) Olin of Lexingotn, SC, Shaundra (Philip) Shuler of Orangeburg, SC, Sereta Wright of Atlanta, GA; two bonus daughters, Betty Jean Riley of Holly Hill, SC and Angella (Richard) Polite of Elloree, SC; one goddaughter, Brandi Jackson of Eutawville, SC; two sisters, Barbara Watson of the home and Carolyn Olin of Lynn, Mass.; brother, Ricky Olin of Lynn, Mass.; mother-in-law, Mamie Oliver of Holly Hill, SC; four sisters-in-laws, Minnie Olin, Julia Prezzy, Martha Harrell, and Mary Smalls; two brother-in-laws, James Abraham and Lockwood Smalls; seven grandchildren, Dontrell Vogt, Shy'daesha Ryant, Alexis Shuler, Taylor Davis, Philip Shuler, Jr., Kaywon Shuler and Jacarri Shuler; four great-grandchildren, I'Yanna Vogt, Mikell Vogt, Zaiden Caldwell, Jamiyah Vogt; and uncle, Deacon William E. Shingler; and aunt, Elizabeth (John) Palmer; godbrother, Bernard Brown; spiritual parents, Wille and Mary Frances Richardson; a host of neices, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
