Dominique Mychal Smith Obituary

King Dominique Mychal Dewayne Smith was born on January 10, 1990 at MUSC hospital to Michelle Hall and Michael Wilson.

Dominique was known to everyone as Big “6” or “Neek”. He attended Cross Elementary School and Cross High School in Berkeley County.

He was very well loved and loved everybody. He never argued or seen him angry. He was a lovable friendly teddy bear that loved playing his PS5 (Madden and 2K). Neek was a family man that loved his children and everyone that came in contact with him. Big “6” loved cooking, therefore he worked at several restaurants along with being a manager at the Cricket Phone Company in Jacksinville, Fl.  His favorite football team of all times was the Dallas Cowboys and basketball was the Lakers.  Neek was the life of the party. He would get it started with his jokes and kept everyone laughing. He believed that laughing was good for the soul. You could find him listening to the music of Don Toliver often. He might have been young in age but loved any Old School Music.

Neek was preceded in death by his brother: Kamron Jenkins; step-brother: Anthony Hall, Jr.; grandmother: Diane Jefferson; aunt: Crystal Jefferson; and  grand uncle: Charles Aiken.

God in His infinite wisdom called Dominique home on May 29, 2023. He leaves behind so many memories and will never be forgotten.

His beloved children: Yazmine Smith Sparkman and Kayden Smith; mother and step father: Michelle and Anthony Hall; step dad: Sidney Jenkins; siblings: Andrea (Darryl) Jenkins,  Shawta (Charles) Duffy, Travis Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Tori Hall, Antwan Hall, and Tawanna Hall; grandfather: Robert Lee Jefferson; aunts: Sophia (Sheldon) Jenkins and Letisha (Paris) Dingle; grandaunt: Marilyn Aiken; and granduncle: Mark Smith; special cousins: Kelshun, Faith, Charlie, Shawn, Lynn, Markie, Wilford (Juney), and Joseph Jr. (Putang); his beloved girlfriend: Brittney Wilson; his ultimate best friend: Laticia S. Gillard; and a host of other  aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
