Miss Diane Brunson, the daughter of the late Johnny and Mariah Brunson was born on July 29, 1958, in Orangeburg, SC. She departed this life on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
Miss Brunson grew up in the community of Eutawville, where she lived, laughed, loved and attended public schooling. In the year of 1977, she earned her high school diploma from Roberts High, previously located in Holly Hill, SC. She then continued her studies at Denmark Technical College in Denmark, SC where she graduated two years later, in 1979. After receiving her degree, Miss Brunson relocated to Boston, MA, where she devoted her time as an employee at Mass. Eye and Ear Hospital, located in the heart of Boston. However, eighteen years later, in 1998, Miss Brunson decided to return home to be closer to immediate family and help care for her mom.
Miss Diane Brunson was a very energetic, happy, and fun person who was known as the “life of the party”. No matter who, what, or where you were, she always said what was on her mind and kept it real at all times. To know her, was to simply love her. She touched many lives and would help anyone in need if she could. Miss Brunson was family oriented, always around, and there at the drop of a dime.
At an early age, she joined Unity Missionary Baptist Church, but later moved her membership to Lovely Hill Baptist Church.
Preceded in death were her parents (Johnny & Mariah Brunson), brothers (Johnny Jr. & Edward Brunson), sister (Julia May Evans), and son (Timothy Brunson).
Miss Brunson leaves to cherish her memories: two sons Joey & Jamal Brunson of Eutawville, S.C; four grandchildren: six brothers: Bobby-Lee and Willie Brunson of Dorchester, S.C, Richard Brunson of Fayetteville, NC, Joe Nathan Brunson of Eutawville, SC, Clyde Jenkins of North Carolina, and Jay White of Queens, NY; two sisters: Martha Ladson and Mary Brown of Pittsburg, PA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her very best friend, Martha Harrell, who all love her dearly.
