Mrs. Deborah Ann (Drayton) Myers, 55, transitioned from this life on Friday, August 27, 2021, following a brief illness.
"A Time to be Born," Deborah Ann was born August 25, 1966, in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late Edward Drayton Jr. and the late Alice Davis.
"A Time to Learn" Deborah Ann was educated in the Orangeburg County Public School system, attending Dantzler Middle School, Holly Hill-Roberts Junior High, and Holly Hill-Roberts High.
"A Time to Work" Deborah Ann was employed at Seasonal Industries of Holly Hill, SC and Waffle House of Santee, SC until she found her true passion as a self-taught braidologist. She had a passion for braiding hair and developed a very large clientele and forever friends.
"A Time to Have Fun" Deborah Ann enjoyed fishing, eating seafood, dancing, taking pictures, making videos to post on Facebook, and singing oldie but goodies music. Whenever there was music, she was the life of the party. If you didn't know her when she arrived, you knew her before she left.
"A Time to Wed" Deborah Ann was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Ronnie Myers, who preceded her in death.
"Those gone before her" Deborah Ann is also predeceased by her parents, Edward Drayton Jr. and Alice Davis; her sister, Karen Pauling; her brother, Willie Drayton; her Maternal grandparents, Will and Susie Davis; her Paternal grandparents, Edward and Bertha Drayton; and a very special nephew, Travis "Trap" Wilson (her Butternut).
"An Abundance of Memories" Deborah Ann leave to cherish her fond memories: four sons; Kendrick (Natavia Roper) Drayton of Vance, SC, Patrick (Angel Benton) Drayton of Eutawville, SC, Sedrick (Chantel) Drayton of Elloree, SC, and Derrick Drayton of Santee, SC; three grandchildren, Keniah Drayton, Kaedyn Drayton, and Jordan Drayton; five sisters, Brenda Davis Wilson of Santee, SC, Jannie (William) Davis of Eutawville, SC, Tinda Miller of Stratford, CT, Delphine (Vernon) Gilliard and Angel Drayton of Moncks Corner, SC; three brothers, Steven Pauling of Norwalk, CT, Edward (Denise) Drayton of Elloree, SC and Travis (Charlese Brown) Simpson of Orangeburg, SC; two Godchildren, Jakaliah Bookhart and Michelle Rivers; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
