David Anderson

Davie (David) Anderson went Home to be with the Lord on February 4^th, 2021.  David was born on June 19, 1952 to the late Ernest and Virgie Lee Anderson of Holly Hill, SC.

David was the baby boy of the family and was proceeded in death by his brothers: Ernest Anderson Jr, Freddie Anderson, and Curtis Anderson; and his sisters: Eugenia Anderson and Clara May Anderson.

David is survived by wife, Phyllis Anderson; his children: Devon Anderson, Tynisha Anderson, and Laura Anderson; stepchildren: Crystal Gay and Jason Robinson; Grandchildren: Alexis Dean, Alicia Gay, Marcus Gay, and Jason Robinson Jr; siblings: Shirley Williams (Woodrow), Mary Graves, Jerry Anderson, and Vertis Gleaton (Sidney); longtime friend: LaTenya Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

David was a Christian by faith and loved the Lord. He graduated from Roberts High School in Holly Hill where he was a popular quarterback. He lived in many states New York, Illinois, Georgia, but Holly Hill, South Carolina was his home and where he retired. He loved his family and community no matter the circumstances. He was always there to lend a helping hand and his choice words to anyone in need. He was loved and cared for by many and will forever be missed and remembered.
